Annual Premier Club Day
WARATAH PARK CYCLE COURSE
This day honours the memory of one of our riders who contributed a great deal to our club. It is an opportunity for us to have fun in the atmosphere of the sport we love. Your participation is vital to its success.
EVENTS:- Criterium, Time Trial, Road Race.
GRADES:- A, B, C & D
PRIZES:- 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize money awarded, plus personal trophies and inscription on perpetual trophies. All other competitors also receive prizes.
ENTRY FEE:- $15 (With all money to sweepstakes.)
FOOD AND DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED DURING THE DAY. THE PROGRAM WILL CONCLUDE WITH PRIZE GIVING AND BAR-B-QUE.
8.30am “C” & “D” 25 minutes + 3 laps
9.00am. “B” 30 minutes + 3 laps
9.30am. “A” 35 minutes + 3 laps
All raced on No.2 course.
“C” & “D” 2 laps
“B” 3 laps
“A” 4 laps
All raced on No.2 course.
“C” & “D” 35 minutes
“B” 50 minutes
“A” 65 minutes
All raced over a mix of No.2 & No.3 courses.
ORGANISERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO COMBINE, LENGTHEN OR SHORTEN RACES.

Rules and Regulations
Tour will consist of:- CRITERIUM - TIME TRIAL - ROAD/CRIT.
TOUR WILL BE CONDUCTED IN GRADES A, B, C, D.
Riders must compete in all stages to be eligible for prizes.
No rider may commence racing if they miss the first event i.e. criteriums.
Points 5, 3, 2, 1, will be awarded for 1st , 2nd, 3rd and 4th places – plus one point for starting and one point for finishing.
Points will also be awarded for primes in the criteriums and road crits.
1st = 3 points, 2nd = 2 points and 3rd = 1 point.
There will be one Prime in the Crits and one Prime in the “Road/Crits. for all grades
Primes will be contested on whistle.
KOM and QOM – 1st place only = 3 points.
CRITERIUM One lap out for a mechanical defect or flat tyre. Change at start finish position. Riders must complete last three laps.
TIME TRIAL. Riders will depart at one minute intervals.
Riders who miss their start will be penalised two points and will start at the end of their grade.
Competitors must start at bottom (LHS) of track, passing and finishing on top (RHS) of track. Top and bottom of track will be marked by red cones. Riders must finish the required number of laps for their grade. No indication of lap counts will be given or bell rung to indicate finish.
ROAD/CRITERIUM will be raced over a mixture of No.2 and No.3 circuits. A marshal at the intersection of No.2 and No.3 circuits will indicate which course to follow. It is the rider’s responsibility to follow the directions given. Failure to ride the correct course will incur a points penalty. Some dropped riders may be directed by an official to ride a different course, or may be withdrawn.
During this event a KOM and a QOM contest will take place for all grades. KOM and QOM sprints will be announced and will be on the same lap (1st place only)
No laps out for any reason. Riders must make repairs and chase bunch.
No feeding or passing up bidons.
