The ‘Espresso Race Series’ is part of the Sutherland Shire Cycling Club winter race program promoted by the SSCC club and sponsored by Watkins Real Estate.
 

Races are held on the first Saturday morning of each month.

The aim of the series is to provide a professionally run. exciting and entertaining event in order to promote cycle racing.

The series is part of the normal weekly club races and is open to both club members and visitors.

One event held on the first saturday of each month will be run on the fast number 2 circuit, if bunch finishes are becoming too congested then the Commisaire may request the final laps to be completed on the number 3 circuit

The venue is the purpose built criterium circuit at at Waratah Park, Rawson Ave, Sutherland

Entry Fee is $10 on the line, please bring your licence with you, no licence no ride!

Registration (and more importantly coffee) from 07.30

The number of entries will be limited per event.

• A Grade -  Start time 8:30 - Max. 45 Starters
• B Grade -  Start time 9:00 - Max. 40 Starters
• C Grade -  Start time 9:30 - Max. 35 Starters

The distance for all events is 20 mins + 3 laps, a lap out for a mechanical or puncture is allowed only in the first 20 mins.

Sweepstakes Prize money and Primes for all grades , the more entries the more prize money !

St Johns Ambulance will be on standby but we hope you will never have to use them !

Facilities at the venue include toilets, showers (for men and Women) and of course refreshments
