Welcome to Sutherland Shire Cycling Club

SSCC is a place for all riders – from recreational through to racing – across road, track and mountain. Our club is based at Waratah Oval in Rawson Avenue, Sutherland. This location provides riders with a variety of options right on the doorstep. Circling the club house is a custom road cycling track available for social and training rides, as well as official weekly club racing year-round.

Behind the club house is a short purpose-built mountain bike track, which is used to host our monthly Short Track MTB racing, and is the perfect place to introduce kids to mountain biking. And of course, just across the road we have access to the vast network of trails on offer in the Royal National Park. Our club members come from all walks of life, are of all ages and abilities, who share a love of riding. We look forward to welcoming you at a SSCC event soon.

Congratulations to our very own Tristan Ward on a successful B2B weekend:
🥈2nd in the crit;
🥉3rd in the hill climb; and
🏅6th in the road race - which was plagued with poor route directions and a major stuff up in the last Km

A reminder to all members,
(especially with the end of daylight saving )

You should have front and back lights for all rides, even daytime!

This is a minimum safety measure and will help keep everyone safe.
Traffic is ever increasing and visibility is key on the roads.

Wearing your club kit will obviously make you alot more visible than wearing black too 😉
