Welcome to Sutherland Shire Cycling Club

SSCC is a place for all riders – from recreational through to racing – across road, track and mountain. Our club is based at Waratah Oval in Rawson Avenue, Sutherland. This location provides riders with a variety of options right on the doorstep. Circling the club house is a custom road cycling track available for social and training rides, as well as official weekly club racing year-round.

Behind the club house is a short purpose-built mountain bike track, which is used to host our monthly Short Track MTB racing, and is the perfect place to introduce kids to mountain biking. And of course, just across the road we have access to the vast network of trails on offer in the Royal National Park. Our club members come from all walks of life, are of all ages and abilities, who share a love of riding. We look forward to welcoming you at a SSCC event soon.

Teams Time Trial training running this Sunday, 7am from SSCC club house. Due to rain we have missed a lot of TT training. We will be running TTT training sessions 26th June, 3rd and 10th of July to try and make up some of our missed session and help with team selection.

Just so everyone is aware Teams have not been set yet. We usually use the Tasman Shield TT as a guide for team selection. Since we were not able to run that last week attending training on Sundays will really help the club get an idea of everyone’s current level

If you are interested in participating please let Mitchell know 0421471701, especially if you can't make the training sessions so that we have your name down once we start planning teams

Due to tomorrow's weather forecast and concerns for rider safety the Tasman Shield Time Trial has to be postponed.

We always want to provide the best event possible and to have as many of you as possible attend - tomorrow's forecast does not help us achieve this.

Stay tuned for the date of our re-scheduled Tasman Shield Time Trial.
